Lac-Mégantic

Waterfront chalet rentals in Lac-Mégantic

Chalets Forēssence offers chalets right on the water in and around Lac-Mégantic, each one with direct access to the lake from the grounds. Unlike listings that call any property with a lake view "waterfront", every chalet on this page lets you reach the water without crossing a public road or a neighbour's land: swimming, kayaking or launching a boat straight from the property.

Other Forēssence chalets offer a lake view or water access a few minutes away, in particular Chalet du Phare in Piopolis and Le Bekvām in Sainte-Cécile-de-Whitton. Browse all our chalets to see the full selection.

Several of these chalets also include a four-season private outdoor hot tub.

FAQ

Do the chalets have direct lake access or only a lake view?

Every chalet on this page has direct lake access from the grounds, not just a view. The type of access varies: private beach (L'Évasion), private dock (Le Grand Duc), natural shore access (Le Madison, Orion, La Maison de Cèdre). None of them requires crossing a public road or a neighbouring lot to reach the water.

Can you swim straight from the chalet?

Yes, swimming is possible from the grounds of every chalet in this selection. L'Évasion and Le Grand Duc have the facilities best suited to families with children, with a gradual beach or a level dock. Le Madison and Orion offer natural access from the shore. Check each property page for details on depth and lake bottom.

Are watercraft included or available?

La Maison de Cèdre includes a kayak and a canoe. Le Grand Duc provides 4 kayaks and allows motorboats. L'Évasion has watercraft available on site, and Le Madison offers kayaks and canoes on site. For Orion, bring your own. In every case, lake access from the grounds makes launching straight from the property easy.

Is there a private dock?

L'Évasion and Le Grand Duc have a private dock. Le Madison, La Maison de Cèdre and Orion offer direct access to the natural shore, without a built dock. If a dock matters for your stay, L'Évasion (10 guests) and Le Grand Duc (20 guests) both meet that need and both include a private outdoor hot tub.
