Come discover the Marché public de Lac-Mégantic, a vibrant place where producers, artisans, and regional enthusiasts gather to offer you the best of their know-how. Friday evenings, from June 21 to August 30, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and from September 6 to October 11, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
A refreshing break
Looking for a pleasant spot for a refreshing break and a swim in the lake? Le Parc de l'OTJ could be the ideal place! Located near downtown, this park is beautifully laid out to welcome visitors. You'll find playground modules for children as well as direct access to the municipal beach and its water play area. For those who enjoy sports, the park also offers a ball field, a soccer field, volleyball courts, and a cycling path. Outdoor enthusiasts can also try paddleboard and yoga on the lake with FluoSup, a service offered directly at your chalet or at Baie-des-Sables.

Parc des Vétérans is also well equipped with plenty of garbage bins, comfortable benches, and picnic tables, making it a welcoming meeting place for families and groups of friends. Whether you want to enjoy an outdoor outing or simply treat yourself to a moment of peace and quiet, the charm and accessibility of this park are sure to win you over. What's more, the Lac-Mégantic marina borders one side of Parc des Vétérans. It offers boaters more than 105 reserved spaces to dock their boats, a fuel station and wastewater pump-out service, a boat launch, and a platform equipped for sailboat rigging. Five dock spaces are available for a few hours for boats visiting the region. To extend the lakeside experience, stay in a chalet with direct access to Lac Mégantic and enjoy the world's first International Dark Sky Reserve.
